A significant re-audit took place in our company from 5 May to 7 May; this takes place every 3 years, and is becoming increasingly important. It involved an assessment of our combined quality and environmental management system by TÜV Rheinland to ensure that the system is effective and that it conforms to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2009. We also underwent a revalidation of our environmental statement in accordance with EMAS III (Regulation (EC) No. 1221/2009) at the Meßstetten-Tieringen location. The assessments were very positive. What is more, a monitoring audit was carried out on our Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001:2007 - these monitoring audits usually take place once a year - and we passed this successfully too. At the end of March this year, our company's assured sustainability was also assessed the German Institute for Sustainability and Economics in an external audit. We also successfully passed this audit. This was confirmed by the Institute with an important informative certificate. In addition, we are now permitted to make free use of the seal "Gesicherte Nachhaltigkeit / certified CSR" in all our promotional materials.

The quality seal "Gesicherte Nachhaltigkeit/CSR" leads to direct dialogue with users, and provides them with an interpretation of the professional concept and high quality promise of our products and services. It reinforces customer confidence in the quality of our performance and our expertise, as well as our company's social and socio-economic responsibility. Because sustainability/CSR can be and do a lot more than just green! In the furniture industry, the international sustainability and CSR seal is a critical factor in the confidence in our products and services, as well as in customer loyalty. Customers consider this as a very positive point when they award contracts. This is confirmed by certified organisations as well as commercial and private customers.

We are delighted that our management systems in environment, quality, and occupational health and safety - and our award-winning sustainable company philosophy - have achieved such excellence, and will continue to work together to maintain and develop these far beyond the standards laid down by statutory regulations.
