Interstuhl's KINETICis5 has received the German Design Award 2014 'Special Mention' in the 'Working Spaces' category.

The KINETICis5 range includes two bar stools, the 705K without footrest and the 710K with footrest, both created by Phoenix Design. The jury was impressed by its elegant design. Thus, it has been awarded with the German Design Award 2014 'Special Mention'.

The German Design Award by the Design Council (Rat fuer Formgebung) assesses products and projects based on their product and communication design. It also honours personalities and upcoming designers and their individual contribution to the German and international design landscape.

The German Design Award ceremony will take place in Frankfurt on 7 February 2014.
