An overview of the collection

Quality and sustainability play a major role at Interstuhl. We are convinced of the great durability of our products. That is why we offer a 10-year warranty for all Interstuhl products and all spare parts – including gas springs and mechanisms.
The 'Tested for harmful substances' certification is awarded by TÜV Rhein-land and confirms that our products are tested and regularly monitored to ensure they contain only harmless levels of emissions and hazardous sub-stances. The basis for testing are the strict requirements of the emissions guidelines for upholstered furniture (2 PfG S 0121/03.13).
GS stands for
Quality Office is the only certification mark that combines product quality, consulting and service. It identifies and distinguishes outstanding products that work particularly well for daily office use. The guidelines for the certifi-cation mark are stipulated by six renowned institutions from the office industry and the world of work.
BIFMA is one of the globally leading trade associations for the furniture industry. Since 1973, BIFMA has looked after the development of and compliance with safety, quality, sustainability and health standards. With its decades of experience, it helps ensure members deliver productive and sustainable work environments.

Goal sprung from the Industrieformen studio of Hans-Georg Piorek. "Never believe that something is good enough." This is the idea behind the products of the designers Piorek, this idea is the link between accepting the proven and attempting as yet untried aspects. Goal is the successful realisation of a series-compatible, simple, pleasant yet striking office chair that couldn't be made in a higher quality.

Sustainability

We take responsibility

Like all Interstuhl products, the Goal is consistently designed for sustainability. That doesn't just include a long service life – the ability to return products after use also plays an important role. After all, 98 % of the materials can be reused after the office chair has reached the end of its useful life. In addition, the Goal has received many environmental seals and certificates.
The Blue Angel is the most widely known certification mark in the world. For 40 years now, the Environmental Label Jury, the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, the German Federal Environmental Agency and RAL gGmbH have been distinguishing products and services that are particularly environmentally friendly. The LGA test mark 'Tested for harmful substances' has been awarded by TÜV Rheinland since 2007. Only products that perfectly meet the high re-quirements for emissions and hazardous substances are awarded this certifi-cation. After the inspection, the final products are also sampled randomly to ensure long-term compliance with the criteria. LEVEL is the first European certification for sustainability in office and non-domestic furniture for indoor use. The certification takes into account Euro-pean legislation, Green Public Procurement and the EU Circular Economy package. The focus lies on 'Materials', 'Energy & Atmosphere', 'Human & Ecosystem Health' and 'Social Responsibility'. Quality Office is the only certification mark that combines product quality, consulting and service. It identifies and distinguishes outstanding products that work particularly well for daily office use. The guidelines for the certifi-cation mark are stipulated by six renowned institutions from the office industry and the world of work.
